Please note that juveniles must be a member of Cappamore GAA & Camogie Club before they can take part in training sessions, blitzes and competitive games.
East Limerick Gaels Awards
Congratulations to Kathleen O’Dwyer and Liam Creamer who were each presented with an East Limerick Gaels award by the East Board on 2 January.
Kathleen receives the Tom O’Brien Personality Award
Mike Clarke picked up the award on behalf of Liam Creamer.
Fitzgibbon Cup
Well done to Cappamore’s Intermediate hurler - Sean Whelan, who was part of the Mary Immaculate College panel that defeated SETU Waterford on a scoreline of 4 - 22 to 2 - 16 in round 1 of the 2026 Fitzgibbon Cup.
Best of luck to Sean as Mary I take on ATU Galway on 22 January in round 3 of the competition.
Limerick Girls U14 Gaelic Football
Well done to Anna Ryan (Luke) who is a member of Limerick U14 Girls football panel that played Laois in a challenge match on Friday evening in UL. Well done!
Limerick Development Draw
Congratulations to the GAA club’s former Treasurer – Richard Devane, who won €2,000 in the Limerick Development Draw in December.
Football of Wales Chief Executive
Congratulations to former Cappamore GAA player – Noel Mooney who has extended his tenure as CEO of Wales FA to 2030.
Noel was goalkeeper for Cappamore underage teams and the U21 Gaelic Football team who won back to back county football titles in the mid-1990s.
Donnacha Ryan Luke Truck and Tractor Run 2025
Cappamore Camogie Club are extremely grateful and thankful to Mikey, Nicola and Aishling Ryan Luke for their very generous donation of €5,000 from the Donnacha Ryan Luke Truck and Tractor Run 2025. The camogie club was one of many clubs and organisations that received donations on 12 December at a presentation evening in O’Dwyer’s Bar.
Also, congratulations to Mikey, Nicola, Aishling and the committee of the DRL Truck and Tractor Run who received the Limerick Person of the Month Award.
